Back from Mexico
Few hours split within few days of jet-lag and getting accustomed to this cold, that belongs to the population.
And so our last year begins.
We want to share with you some things about our journey, and some impressions about being here, because coming back, we realise how our back never hurt in the last month, and how it’s starting to… It’s the tension of not feeling welcomed that started as soon as they barked upon us with the first SMS, at the Kindergarden, in the queue of Edeka.
But the good thing is that we finally understood - now we got it: Germany is an exception.
Walking the streets of Oaxaca to reach the second station of buses, we realised the beauty of chaos, and how indeed the whole world is like this: a cumulonimbus of freedom where we all do our best to survive, and therefore stars are born.
Mexico was our destination, because Japan had been too much of an organised country, and we needed random, colourful life this year. Life where you have to deal with hopes that belong to ingenuity, where abundance realises into art guided by a Nature that is asking you to represent her and to become like her.
Synthetic stuff doesn’t exist there, mainly. We’ve found it very hard to touch non-natural fibres, to witness non-natural ways of crafting every-day items. We’ve purchased some bowls - pardon, seeds, that, parted into 2, receive and nourish the hottest soup. Because of their round nature, they are held steady by circular hay braids! … “oh well, this is how i want to live!” we both thought, often.
Before talking about the coming back, let us mention that Mexico has banned solar geoengineering - click to open the link - therefore there the sky was something unbelievable and amazing at all times of the day! And this is very important for all of us - if you find a petition to sing to ban the stripes in the sky, sign it and pass it over to us!
From the diet to the clothing (MaVie’s highlight!), to the amazing people we’ve met, the sea and the sun’s regeneration, Mexico is a place we’re willing to come back to! We will definitely avoid the Capital, since we will be forever remembering Frida Kahlo’s house, and we would spend a looot of time in Oaxaca Region :) - our highlight with our best latin dances teacher in Puerto Escondido!
Waves of lives …
Whilst unsuccessfully trying to answer: why are we heading back?, we were packing food and memories away. A stop in London, where we met Iffelays, another daughter of Birth into Being Method, to then back to frost. For the last year.
Sharing something about the last years trying to run a farm in Germany, a Nation that is an exception, as already said: a small world where things work not according to the spiral of random events that dot human lives… as you know, we’ve suffered the government, its functionaries and the world that doesn’t want to come to Perma Future, where people seem empty: hardly smiling, likely shouting, finding fun in humiliation, wanting to show superiority.
It’s not how nature works, and we’re aware of how charming that can be - mostly if you’re wounded - but now we’ve seen how lonely that will make us.
The German mothering with male features that put conditions to loving, will soon be left. No need to disguise this discomfort in mockery: we are opening to become honest; brave enough to start naming things for what they really are.
To this last year together we promise you to be more constant with our communication, to honestly update you with what’s going on not only above the earth, and to give you the 100% you’re used to :)
Thank you for your support!
