In this post we are talking about the development of your gardening skills, that will allow you to grow TASTY vegetables, even in your only pot by the window.
Let’s start!
In our Permaculture Summer School, we will guide you through every stage of the growing season, explaining everything about the tools, the natural processes, the ecosystem that makes gardening easy for experts and passionates.
Our approach is sustainable, self sourced and natural: no chemicals and no machinery are touching our land, in fact more than 100 families can taste the difference!
What to expect?
Each session is designed to align with the natural rhythms of the growing season, ensuring you learn by doing!
We will start on the
21-22 June
when Summer starts in full swing, and so does your garden!
Long daylight hours push plants into a rapid growth phase, but without proper care, weeds and pests can take over. This weekend, we’ll focus on:
• Smart weeding techniques to keep competition low
• Stress-free watering and mulching methods
• Recognizing early pest signs and using natural solutions
Thanks to our booklet, you will know everything about the phases that preceded the start of the season; and you will also get to seed and transplant some baby veggies by yourself :)
19-20 July
The first tomatoes, eggplants, and zucchinis are ripening—are you ready?
This session is all about:
• Supporting heavy fruiting plants for maximum yield
• Fine-tuning watering and nutrient management for peak flavor
• The best time and technique to harvest garlic for long storage
You’ll walk away with hands-on experience in giving your crops (or pots) the perfect environment to flourish.
30-31 August
is about preparing for Autumn while maximizing your yield
As summer fades, it’s time to think ahead, let’s:
• Harvest potatoes and prepare for autumn crops
• go through crop rotation secrets to improve soil fertility
• learn a simple yet powerful trick to boost harvests
This is the perfect time to set up a thriving autumn garden while making the most of your summer efforts!
6-7 September
A final stretch, extending growth & boosting plant health
Want to keep your garden productive for longer? This session covers:
• How to prolong fruiting in tomatoes, zucchini & other summer crops
• Techniques to prevent plant exhaustion and encourage healthy late-season growth
• Knowing when (and how) to terminate plant growth for best results
Learn practical techniques to extend your harvest window and make the most of the changing season!
